Unfinished Sermons: a parable for church performance is an opera in one act with music by Maurice Saylor and a libretto by Phillip Grace. The world premiere took place on Friday, November 13, 2009, with a repeat performance on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. The opera was directed by Jay David Brock and was staged at Walker Chapel United Methodist Church, Arlington, Virginia.
